愛猫たちの肖像画展 ”The Meowseum（ミャオジアム）”
世界中の愛猫家のみなさまと一緒に開催したい、という思いでかたちにした
初のオンライン展覧会の第1期が公開となりました。

日本各地、海外からもご参加いただき、世界中の愛猫家が集まる場に近づけたことを大変嬉しく思っています。
大切な愛猫と過ごす時間、かけがえのない思い出、思わず笑ってしまう可愛らしい表情など、たくさんのベストショットが届きました。
それらを、写真とはまた異なる魅力をもつオリジナルの肖像画作品にして、展示させていただいています。

その1枚は、愛猫との暮らしのほんの１シーンにすぎないと思いますが、どの作品も、愛猫の豊かな表情と、
愛情が感じられる作品に仕上がっているかと思います。

出展者の方は、ご自身の愛猫の作品を精一杯愛でていただき、展覧会を観賞しに来ていただいた方は、
世界中の魅力的な猫たちを心ゆくまで堪能していただけたら、と思います。

猫を愛する気持ちは、国籍や、人種や、年齢など、あらゆる垣根を越えて、
世界中の人々が共有し、共感できるものだと信じています。
猫を愛する気持ちを通して、世界が昨日よりも、少し優しい今日になりますように。

Our wish to hold an exhibition of cat portraits with cat lovers around the world has come true as Round 1 of The Meowseum, an online exhibition of beloved cats.

We were jumping for joy when cat lovers from across Japan and overseas joined The Meowseum,
and felt that we took a step closer to creating a space for all who love cats.
The time spent with treasured cats, the sweet memories, the adorable actions that put a smile on our faces... many photographs capturing such priceless moments came our way.
We then created original portraits that reinterpreted the charms of the photographs.

Each photograph is just one of the countless scenes from cat lovers’ lives with their beloved cats.
However, we feel that the portraits have encapsulated the diverse expressions of our beloved cats and exude deep love.

We hope that people who took part in The Meowseum will admire the portraits of their dear cats to their hearts’ content, and that all who visit will appreciate the charming cats of the world.

We believe that the love we have for cats crosses boundaries such as nationality, race, and age, and this love is a sentiment that all humans can empathize with. May our love for cats make the world today a little kinder than yesterday.

Starting with Round 1, we will continue to create a community for people who cherish cats.
